Grants
Grants generated by the Community Foundation are like "fuel" to the community and the non-profits that reap the benefits of such monetary support. It is through grants that the Foundation is able to help elevate the quality of life for residents of the Verdugos area. If you are an agency looking for support, be sure to read over the guidelines and how to apply sections to start your application in the right direction. If you are interested in what organizations we have given grants to and toward what types of projects, review the sidebar on the right for the Recent Grants Awarded.
Another funding process managed by the Community Foundation which provides grants to the community, but has a separate application process from that of the Foundation itself, is The Mary Pinola/Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce Educational Endowment Fund Grant. It is a separate grant giving entity and applying for a Mary Pinola grant and a Community Foundation of the Verdugos Grant is allowed.
